I am hoping that in a year or two when things settle down, these businesses will be sold off to the private sector. They better... we are creeping down the road towards communism in financials (the state owns the means of production). They have nationalized ~50% of the mortgages in the country and I'm not sure the percentage of insurance... but it's big. Given that we are a center right country, I doubt we have a lot to worry about. Meanwhile, we are still not out of the woods. This is a frigging mess. They plug one part of the leaking dike only to have another part of the dike start leaking.
