The powers that be either draw a line in the sand right now today or there is another quick 2000 points to the downside by next week. Thats the way I see it. There is little to be gained by more downside, economically for the whole.

The ball is in their court. I took mine and left. Seen enough. Don't want to go long or short. And it only took the 20 minutes in which MS and GS got shorted down 30% to convince me. See ya'll! Its all random bs. Zero confidence that the markIT has any remaining functionality to 'discover' prices. Just leave the computer trading algorithms on to figure it all out. Everybody else head home.

OK, trading the plan. Closed out all of my SDS position (started Nov 2007 with multipe adds since). Sold it during the last 10 mins of trading, average 77.72.

I'm pretty sure I've left a fair amount on the table based on valuations and economic conditions, but one thing I learned from the 2001 experience is to quit while you're ahead.
