Neither can solve the problem immediately but Obama understands the problems at the very least. McCain is senile and Palin is a nut job.

Speaking ill of Reagan is frowned upon, I understand, but the problems were sown by Vodoo Economics.

Bush I was out of touch but extremely intelligent and wanted to do the right thing, IMO.

Clinton initially put a dent in the problem but was ineffectual in his last 3 years during the Republicans' crusades.

And of course, Bush II compounded the problems along with Greenspan all to preserve their legacies.

We could have had a deep recession in 2000-2003, housing would have fallen, and we would have been better for it. Now we have this monster which will utterly ruin us.
