The KKK and NRA are blood brothers, The fact that old Dixiecrats before the Nixon-LBJ days were mainly dems doesn't change anything. The NRA is at its core a racist organization for far rightwing white guys, some of whom are fascist militia types or paranoid schitzophrenics. Remember Oklahoma city. The far right NRA types are a clear and present danger to this country. They are not defenders, they are reactionary insurrectionists and gun lobbyists. Sure, some of them are good guys, but at its core that is what the NRA really stabnds for. Not just white supremecy but far rightrwing white supremacy. Don't think they're not a potentially vcery dangerous bunch. And they are also very dishonest and corrupt in their tactics and claims.
