Vi---On top of that, I have not researched it yet, but treasuries are as cheap as leasing gold now and may be the preferred instrument to be borrowed rather than having to sell the bullion to use proceeds to invest(?). I question their ability to invest. I could have literally done better at the crap table----Peace

Vi -- ECB still has plenty of gold. Its carried on their balance sheet. So, if they want to sell, they do.
