Agree. Generally, bad markets and economy are a big negative for the incumbent President and his party - but yes, McCain seems to be perceived to be somehow separate from the old establishment of both parties. Maybe he'll be able to take over the "change" thing. Palin, btw, just spoke about it on the Hannity show, and she sounds quite convincing.

I hope you are right. The libs will try to blame McCain (as an extension of Bush) and of course the media will pile on.
