MM - You have got to be kidding me. Do the tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis who have been killed, and the millions who have had to become refugees since we invaded their country mean nothing at all? Are their lives "not our problem?" Do we bear no responsibility for the consequences of our national actions? Your statement that we treat our "unlawful combatant" detainees "like kings" is simply too ungrounded in reality to allow me to formulate a response. I will just say that inhumane treatment of prisoners, at least some of whom are completely innocent, cannot be justified by referring to inhumane actions by others. We're supposed to be the good guys. Remember? - Allen
