Well, get ready to be pleasantly surprised Steve. Obama WILL cut your taxes. By the time of the elections, America will know McSame as a political whore and a serial liar that will say anything and take any position if he thinks it will get him elected. They will also view him as too old and frail to be our Commander and Chief. Which will raise HUGE questions about his judgment in picking Sarah Palin as VP. She's an out-and-out bible thumping fundamentalist with neocon leanings worse than Bush. She's Bush with a c*nt. The (R)'s aren't going to be able to hide who she is through the elections, and America will rightly fear putting such an uneducated, inexperienced right wingnut in charge of our country, with it's failing economy, thanks to the previous (R) ideologue. She will be a net negative for McSame.

I don't believe Obomber when he says he will cut my taxes and "only" raise taxes on his rich friends. Bush cut my taxes and democrats will raise them. End of story laundroman. McCain is making a mistake on this issue. He needs to be pointing out Obama's track record rather than focusing on what Obama SAYS he will do. One need only look at his [limited] voting record to see he never met a tax he didn't love. We already know Obama will say anything to get elected. So, if he says, "Oh, 'my plan' won't raise your taxes" you know he's a liar and you know the "plan" won't survive the inauguration. McCain should be running, not against what Obama says, but against what Obama has done or tried to do.
