i always was a closet socialist. Free marketeers did exactly what neoconners did and thats 1. believe the hype about free markets or before that democracy 2. the libertarian crap as if you can exist in a world without govt. Same dudes who espouse free markets and denounce welfare cheats are the first ones on line with hat in hand. Govt has a daunting task on its hands. This is like the early days of the new new deal. Keynes is back big time and repubs like david dont understand there cant be a supply side without demand. In 1980 i said that about dems who didnt realize you couldnt have a demand side without a supply side. Are we in sync on this???
