I dunno, except that maybe people think this will put a floor under the financial meltdown, but it sure seems like S&L bailout part II from the 80s...

Either way, all of this "lost" money will come out of the tax payer pocket, not that the ave. taxpayer has any money left... but that never stopped the big boyz, did it?

They all got record bonuses, etc. on the way up, and now instead of going to jail, they simply walk away and we have to pay for their losses... is this the way capitalism is supposed to work?
