Naked short selling doesn't apply to commodity trades or mortgage securitization, so I don't know what you're talking about. But you really are a mule, aren't you? You just plant your feet in the ground and insist all the markets work in textbook fashion.....rationally and impervious to the opaque speculative forces out there. Too funny. As for taking down a healthy company, I would have agreed with you almost 100% a year ago. I would still agree they can't take down a healthy company, but now see that in an industry like financials, they can kill off a sick company that might otherwise recover if left alone.
