We'll see. I'm gonna keep trailing stops under all longs, and don't plan to add heavily until we get a follow through day. Then we'll see.

Of course the third possibility is that this is a sustained bottom for months and months. Just wanted to make sure someone said it.....<G>

If I were long the market (I'm currently flat) I would absolutely FREAK OUT if they banned short selling and would immediately sell everything I own. Why? Because such a drastic measure by the SEC, if taken, would be a clear signal that the shit we are in is incomprehensibly deep.

Don't be surprised if the long "smart money" runs for the hills the minute the SEC bans all shorts. We could see a market collapse of epic proportions with major indices losing half their value in a matter of days.
