There are surely no feasible options for ensuring that we will never have another terrorist attack on American soil. In terms of both politics and his conscience, I can see why a president might pursue an unfeasible option--to demonstrate that he has done all he can. That doesn't much appeal to me but it does to a lot of people. But the logic is faulty, as I think I've already shown. If by "shown" you mean that you offered an argument, you did. As for showing, I don't think that's feasible, either. <g>
