Barney Frank and Charles Schumer know far more about economic issues than the clueless republicans. Republicans are now the reactionaries. These dems understand finance. Republicans have taken supply side so far away from its origins that Reagan is turning in his grave. Next pres will be either caretaker mccain or Obama and the economic mess will be repaired by the democratic congress in conjunction i hope with Paulson who stays on even in an obama admin.
