Banning shorting will not work for long . What about shorting a stock in a country or exchange that has not banned shorting ? Is that covered ? What about futures , puts and calls ? I suspect a few holes in the law . Maybe I am way off . No one sent me a copy of the law this morning . I wonder why . ralfph CIBC- sent me a letter telling me I am no longer a "premium customer " because I was no longer making 250 trades a year . That is because every damn thing I bought in the last year went down . I can not trade when I am hiding in the closet covering my head .
