Then Senator Phil Gramn and now McCain economic advisor promised that Clinton's 1993 economic plan would trigger a depression. LOL.

As we now know Clinton's plan reduced deficit spending, took the federal government out of competition with the private borrowing, restored confidence in the dollar and resulted in eight years of growth.

Compare that to the years following the Bush tax cuts: The debt is at unsustainable levels, the dollar is in the crapper and the economy is in a tailspin.
