Market was dropping because of housing/financial/bank/investment bank crash that we were witnessing. That crash piece has been removed. Unless its too late to avoid a very serious recession or if the stuff the govt is doing just doesnt work and they have no more arrows, the 10,3 bottom on the dow should hold. Happy days not here again, however the abyss has been avoided. However i take your point this is not business as usual, its business as unusual and the new regime needs to be transparent and effective. IF all that happens market will see new highs within 2 years.

For this week. Nothing has really been done yet, so this market effect is entirely psychological. Easily undone by the next corporate failure.
