Then they move on to some other venture to milk. Or get sent to pasture. Others are left holding the bag and deal with their improvidence. Take for example the cat who ran Bell and Howell into the ground, shacked up with his assistant, got fired, got hired by Morrison-Knudsen, a huge global construction company, ran it into the ground, which went into bankruptcy, was bought by a billionaire who cut the hapless shareholders warrants to buy in to his reconstructed entity at three times the open market value. These guys are crooks. My suggestion: Give them bonuses that mature in five years IF the company is still profitable. Otherwise, it goes to zero like their company.

Grab profits while you can, you never know what the 5 years will bring. It will be appalling if no lessons are learned from this.
