Jim, Bush raised taxes more than any other president in U.S. history.

And he did it in a very special way: you're paying those higher taxes to China and Saudi Arabia, in the form of higher oil, higher housing, higher everything. They then used our tax money to finance their economic growth (or finance terrorism, in the case of Saudi Arabia). Meanwhile, the US falls apart under massive deficits.

And don't forget the events of the last few weeks ...

Don't delude yourself. You're already paying through the nose for 8 years of "conservative" rule. As we all are.
