Well, it does depend on what price they get. Keep in mind though, that the Japs tried an RTC-styled bailout in the 90's and it failed because the banks refused the prices that were offered. If banks are required to mark their CDS's I think the same thing could be insurmountable here. And I don't see an easy way around that.

But yes, if the prices are low enough we the Sheeple may eventually survive it.
