"They are enemy combatants, not criminals. Treating these kinds of people as criminals turned the first WTC bombing into the second one that leveled them."

Many Moose, do you ever listen to yourself?

The entire discussion was about procedural fairness and the lack of fundamental due process that would allow us to determine WHETHER OR NOT THEY WERE GUILTY OF SOMETHING.

After post after post on that subject, including my last post pointing out that your circular reasoning of "They're guilty because we're holding them prisoner" was simply silly, you now respond by asserting that "they are enemy combatants" and, for good measure, you throw in another WTC scare bomb.

Scared people don't think straight. Is that it or maybe you just can't get the needle off that broken record because Rush Limbaugh or Shawn Hannity have hypnotized you?

If you can't get past the certainty that we don't need to give them any due process because they're "guilty" then we're wasting our time. Ed
