Actually they gave people money as this created a new source of income. Gone were the days when a person had to go to the bank and prove that they could afford the payments on that loan.

The lenders came to you showing you how easy it was by means of their advertisements to give yourself a more luxurious life.

Who gave it to them? Twice we received UNSOLICITED cash-out refi checks in the mail for $150,000 each, just sign the back and cash it. I tore the things up as fast as I could. It's bullshit and I'm fed up with the crap. It was entrapment.
