Well, Vi, the markets certainly are being managed now. What's going on openly is ten times worse than what was thought to be going on covertly.

COS.UN is up over 17% today. That means a jump in my net worth of about 3% -- an enormous shift to have been caused by a single position. But it is still way down from its peak.

I am on the whole MUCH worse off than I was early in July, but still well positioned for what I think I see coming.

When the United States government makes war on your commodity long and your financial short positions, it is hard to prosper. But what's being achieved is the bankrupting of the U.S. --or at least the destruction of the dollar.

I am just trying to save my own capital.

Big, big, inflation ahead. Russia will bea lot better off economically than the U. S. because of its energy reserves and production. Now if they could only cut their vodka production and consumption by 90% . . .

What's that old saw about power corrupting absolutely? Human nature is universal. Matters not the USS(?).

>I am just upset that all these folks saying our markets are
managed were proven 100% right this week. Ever since 2002.>

I think it was more like 1998 that the stock markets started behaving abnormally.
