Partly... but a lot of very wealthy folks had little education... starting Tire companies, Waste companies, trucking, are ones I know of etc.

OTOH, if you're going to be president... REALLY, you've gotta AT LEAST of had some political Science, foreign language, History in University... If you're a law professor you've had TONS... I have no idea what if any Palin has had of that, but IMHO in a hundred years you'll still be talking about her comments on foreign policy (I cAN SEE RUSSIA!) and such.

I can't think of any of the really successful college dropouts who were not working at a top university originally whether it was Jobs at Reed college or Gates at Harvard, what have you- they just took a different path.
