Running any state is a big responsibility. Even though Alaska has revenues from oil, it still must balance cash with services. As for comparing her to Whitman or Fioriona, yes she has an appeal to common folks they wouldn't. She's a mother and wife and is a person of faith. That counts for most people in America even if its a big negative for the ghetto you live in. What Palin accomplishes beyond the McCain VP will depend on future actions. Her history says she will likely rise to the challenge. At any rate, she has accomplishments - take the AK gas pipeline deal for example. Obama has NONE except for promoting himself. You all don't get that attacking Palin's experience is an implicit attack on your own candidate who has accomplished LESS than her.
