ItsAllCyclical - I think you're on the mark...

...as is very often the case...GAP and crap on Monday, probably across all sectors, test in GLD 84 down to 82 would be the normal expectation...But then these are hardly normal times. A $25 gap up opening that sticks wouldn't surprise me. I think there are a few more people like me just a bit flat footed with respect to PMs at this time who could be panicie buyers Monday morning.

"Still not a market to be arrogant or play hero" - most wise words...I intend on keeping cash levels up above previously "normal levels" for me, while promising myself not to chase...

Would like anybody's thoughts and advice on owning GLD. After the government's actions regarding short-selling, I have no doubt in my mind that at some point commodity ETF's will be rendered illegal and/or some type of confiscation will occur.

A) What would be the best way to own gold? Just own the physical via Goldmoney?

B) What would be the implications on an index such as the XAU?

Thanks...
