He is no Thomas Jefferson. Deregulation did not take us into this mess. GREED did. OTC derivs were NEVER regulated, therefore, they have never been deregulated, simply by definition. The federal department called the TREASURY is trying to do the legislatin'? How about Health and Human Services cabinent department being called upon t'do the legislatin', for example? And he's makin' up the rules now with a congressional bi-camera legistlature of lawyers to rubber stamp his latest greedy steps yet. Then will come the Detroit bailout. He needs more cares? Then will come the credit card bailout. He needs more Titanium credit cards? Then will come the ..... This latest change is all about A LAND GRAB. One of the oldest investment mantras there is is this: Invest in land because it is the safest. You can hold a gun to my head all day long and can't take it away from me." Now, the govt has figured out how to do that, and with a bazooka in the hands of Askenazi Goldman Sachs no less. "Change and do it now is CRAP! Reform? Yes! Change for change sake? BOGUS!
