I caddied for a guy in his 80s. His daughter found him one morning with the phone in his hand and finger still on the page in the phone book. He was going to call a golfing buddy and died so fast his finger never moved.

Lost one grandfather at age 59, when I was 5. The other one lived into his late 60s.

One grandmother made it to 101. The other made it a couple weeks shy of 100. Her daughter, my mother, didn't see her 77th birthday. Smoked since she was 14. I believe that had a lot to do with it.
