I'm sorry, Mark, but that IS the crisis we are in. The OTC deriv crisis. The mortgage portion of the iceberg is just the most visible manifestation so far. It would appear you've bought the party line about it being a sub-prime crisis. That is false. THIS is an OTC Derivs crisis. Period. And it has a long ways to go, which is why Greediest Scumbag Paulson's land grab is so aggregious. CDS, SIVs, CDOs CMO...these are ALL OTC contracts my young friend.
