"Open Range" I've probably seen that movie more times than any other. I think I saw it six times in the theater, and at least that many times on DVD.

Robert Duvall and Kevin Costner. Costner produced and directed it. I usually can't stand his movies, but this one is a classic.

I stopped going to the movies years ago. Most of it is nothing more than trash. Having said that, last night, purely by dumb luck, I got in on a TV movie that I was happy to stay with. It was called "Open Range". A western, of course, with a couple of men I recognized but couldn't tell you their names. I recognized the only woman in the show, too, but don't know her name either. Good story line and beautiful scenery with good acting. I'd like to see more stuff like that.

If you liked Open Range, watch Lonesome Dove.

ManyMoose and I are both Lonesome Dove/Open Range fans. I watch those movies once a year.

I saw that it was on tv but missed it. (I remember the trailers and worried about the animals.)
