Anyone can change their mind and responsible politicians should do just that as situations and circumstances change, as new information becomes available to them, or simply as their attitudes change about a given issue. Nothing you mentioned constitutes a lie and speaking of attitudes bub, yours stinks. Lies are constituted by the intent to deceive your audience. If you have some actual examples bring them but these changes in direction do not constitute lies.
