GOOD for Nancy! Our Speaker grew a pair! Which, considering she's a woman, is truly a miracle..

The downside is the (R)'s will blame what comes next on Nancy and the (D)'s. A risky, worthy move that deserves some real respect. I'd rather she just have rejected any bailout until after the election.

BUY VOTES

Good. At least the Dems are pretending to be the loyal opposition, for the time being.

They'll prolly pass it and claim "it's not a BLANK check, it's 'only' $700 billion". Conveniently neglecting the fact that it is a revolving account and Paulson will be back to the till in days if not hours.

Let's see if Pelosi's actions match her brave words. I'm not holding my breath.
