Even now, it would be fun to see the creditors go bust and leave it to the markets to sort out. Lots of people could get some real bargains. Back in 1999, while waiting for this to happen, it was obvious to me that the government would rob the savers and productive to pay the dissolute wastrels. So it has come to pass.
