Nice to see you talking politics and not just money. These days the two are so connected that it may seem at first a distraction, but when you tie the two together it gets scary. Seems like more than a few people watched Bill Maher this weekend or were previously familiar w/Shock Doctrine, but are now just mentioning it or it's ideas for the first time. Agree 100% w/your sentiments. I'm more in the later category. I'd heard of it before and it's ideas, but thought too much manipulation/conspiracy for my blood. Now I'm not so sure given what's happening. More than likely some sort of scary down will happen first of the week as you suggest so that those in congress know the gun is loaded and ready to fire in case they try to blink. Like Fight Club - it always existed it's just that Naomi gave it a name :) 10 years from now 80-90% of Americans will have a lower or flat prosperity measured against today's standards. I don't like the situation, but nor do I want to be in that 80-90%. I'm not talking nominal, but adjusted buying power/quality of life etc.
