Watching a replay of Meet the Press right now; Steve Liesman (the CNBS guy) just stated that, unlike the Great Depression, we may look back on these days as the best days of government acting to avert a bigger crisis. Stunning. Erin Burnett just said that we should be pleased that unemployment is not higher and may not increase. Thank god we have the government working with our best interests in mind, and CNBS reporters with journalistic integrity and knowledge to provide us the inside story. Why couldn't Rick Santelli have been on? He would have been informative, entertaining, substantive and memorable. Instead, we get parrots. jpg
