I've asked you specifically WHAT regulation you believe would have prevented these problems and you cannot point to it.

I pointed you to the DE-regulation that is described as responsible...do you think your little bitty brain might go as far as to consider that repealing it or modifying it might have an effect?

Please be specific. What SPECIFIC regulation might have been imposed that would have solved the problem?

Investment banks undergo very little regulatory control. The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act reduced that regulatory control further while allowing investment banks to get into the mortgage business.
