I like McCain but the fact is, any discussion of his legislative record will need to point out the banking deregulation because it was a major activity for him. Worse, McCain is associated with Phil Gramm "mr whiner", along with Wendy Gramm from the ENRON BOD. McCain just had a horrible week, maybe things stabilize and he can return to talking about Iraq. On 60 minutes last night McCain was talking WAY TOO MUCH about Iraq given the concern with the economy. Talking about Iraq, now, does not do what he wants it to do- shift the focus back to Iraq. It actually makes him seem more out of touch and drives home his weakness. He should have picked Romney!
