Interestingly I ran into a friend of my Mom's who's son it turns out teaches in Wasilla and was next door neighbors to the Palin family until they left for the capital. He had the two oldest including pregnant daughter. I said well being a teacher I imagine he is a Democrat what is his thought on the Palin family. She said the kids were wonderful, Sarah and husband were wonderful. You aren't going to find anything bad to say about them. Said many Alaskan's are furious at the treatment she is getting. Said sure there is 20% that don't like her but most of those crossed her or crossed the ethics line at some point and she crushed their ass. He said if Biden or Obama or anyone else want to taker her lightly they are in for a huge surprise. There are a lot of bodies up there of corrupt pols who took her lightly. Found it interesting to have a personal story from someone I know. Also had an article in our local paper of a guy who actually lived with the Palin's for a summer when he moved up there until he got on settled. He was on a guided hunt with her father who encouraged him to move up and the following spring he did. Dad introduced and they actually put him up for a few months. He and his wife also had nothing but glowing things to say. yet the press continues on.
