Why not just learn to enjoy all the other great tastes in the world and simply eat less sweet?

why not just use sugar and less of it.

First step on the "road to degreday!" Sugar nails your glycemic index, and leads to Diabetes/Metabolic syndrome.

We know the toxicity of many chemicals. Usually it is expressed a term called LD50, or the Lethal Dose that will kill 50 percent of the test subjects.

Typical LD-50s rats--mg of substance per kg of body weight:

Sugar 29,700 mg/kg
Ethanol Unleaded Gasoline 7060 mg/kg
Roundup 5,600 mg/kg
Table Salt 3,000 mg/kg
Caffeine 194 mg/kg
Sodium Cyanide 6.4 mg/kg

I thought it was interesting that table salt and caffeine were more poisonous than Roundup and gasoline, yet we do not have people protesting in the streets over it.
