"I doubt that Hamilton gave it much thought."

He actively conspired to rip off his countrymen by buying up the Continentals for a song and then lobbying Congress to redeem them at a much higher price.

Andrew Jackson finally put a bullet through the head of the United States bank, which was the type of bank Hamilton and his cronies were trying to establish (and did, but I can't remember if his was dismantled and a second created that Jackson undid) modeled on the Anglo-Dutch financial scam on which the Bank of England was organized in the late 17th century.

Our current system is basically the very same Anglo-Dutch scam as what Hamilton and his cronies created.

"you are free to snark away "

History is quite a snark hunt. You might think about trying it instead of glorifying the kleptocracy.

For my part, nuff said.
