Kola Mining Corp. (KM) said Monday that a court in Kyrgyzstan has lifted restrictions on its wholly owned subsidiary, Bulakashu Mining Co., and there are "no further impediments to the company's normal operations in the country."

VANCOUVER (CP) -- The court "dismissed the previously imposed prohibition to the Kyrgyz State Agency on Geology and Mineral Resources to issue any additional mineral rights for Bulakashu property," Kola stated.

"There remains a lawsuit filed against the company in respect of BMC by Marsa Aktiengesellschaft, which management continues to consider to be without merit."

Work on the Bulakashu copper-gold property had been suspended after the filing of the legal and regulatory actions.

Drill holes at the property have produced intervals showing more than one gram of gold per tonne.
