You are full of shit...really. This is the guy who just put out a statement saying that in the backdrop of the $700B bailout, he would have to put some of the programs he's talked about on hold.

David, if Obama is elected, he will do what's best for re-election, just like any other politician. If he turns out to be more extreme than Pelosi and Reid, he will be a one-term president, period. (Funny how George Will hints that Obama's inexperience can be solved by serving as president, since it would take at LEAST one term to "fix" that shortcoming.)

Anyway, presidents are interchangeable, but corrupt congressional representatives will be with us for all eternity. For example, look at the current financial crisis. I fear voters will take out their anger on the presidency but not their congressional representatives.
