Here comes da trivia:)Born and raised in Switzerland but has made home Singapore/Hong Kong and Thailand since. Got his Phd in Economics and Economic History by age 21. Knowing much of his 35 year history in markets, i consider him one of top five best minds in the biz over that time, that is still active. He is on my "when he speaks i listen" list. Is an avid motorcyclist. Politics? He told a tale of how he was in cab going from LaGuardia to NYC and the cab driver was praising Bush, and he(Faber) was coming to a boil, he wanted to let the cabbie know what he thought of Bush, but realized he didn't want to be dragged out the cab and left on the expressway.Max
