I think the main problem with clowngress is that the dialog is controlled by the King -- all they can think of is, pass, or not pass, or more likely, pass with a bunch of meaningless crap tacked on. They are not capable of creating an enacting a meaningful alternative e.g. Hussman's proposal to let the risk takers of these banks take the hits, as they would if it were in Intel or GE debt instruments. Unless they are just gonna bail out all entities for ever more.
