A lot of 3rd world countries stopped using DDT because otherwise they would no longer get their 3rd world support money from countries like Germany. Links? CJ, you know this as well as I do.
A de facto ban on the use of DDT where it would be needed the most.

The leftie followers of Rachel Carson and that whole environmental movement took care of that.
Some eagles saved at the cost of millions of babies killed.

But then again, humans are not like those eagles on the list of threatened species.
