Hmm, Chicago is more dangerous than the country of Iraq. That is - murders in Chicago now are higher than combat deaths in Iraq.

How about combat deaths and murders in Iraq? Your premise and conclusion above don't work.

Think there's a problem with IL being too tough on murderers. Arguably, Obama's making it harder to convict murderers may be why there are so many of them in Chicago.

Did you know that recently in Illinois they found out that about 50% of the people on death row were not guilty? That's why they put a temporary moratorium on executions and focused on doing justice correctly.

Of course that detail does you no good because it won't fit on a bumper sticker.
