no doubt. Buffett has an eye for value, and knows when to pull the plug on the bad ones, like he did on derivatives. I'd be very happy if he acted as an advisor to our next president, no matter which one.

But his investment in GS is not an indicator that: (a) we have a bailout plan, or (b) the rest of the market is all better.
