huge difference, i pointed out yesterday, that the $700B is the amount is basically a money laundering facility for treasury to take the illiquid (worthless) assets off the bank's balance sheets sequentially

Read the document carefully. There is no limit on the amount of money they can borrow or spend. The only limit is that there cannot be more than $700B on the books at "any one time."


Yes, as in the max exposure is $700B as stated. Who cares how far they can stretch that amount, the bottom line is that the price tag is $700B (unless of course they agree to more down the road).
