Depends - are you looking to get a jumbo loan? You will be looking at 9% or higher interest rate, if you can find a lender that will fund the loan.

Conforming limits will probably stay lower given that We the Sheeple own FNM, etc.

I think the best strategy would be to amass cash in the short term to avoid a jumbo loan.

High priced market are going to be decimated even more if interest rates continue their climb.
