Dunno about that. McDonald's Southwest Salad with grilled chicken is as healthy a meal as you can get outside your own kitchen. I prefer the cereal companies as villain-in-chief. At least McDonald's doesn't pretend that a Big Mac is healthy.

I don't think anybody pays any attention whatsoever to either the ADA or the AHA while I think Coca Cola and McDonald's get a lot of attention. Of course they've been know to fight back, so maybe Dr. Davis is afraid of them.

I don't know. Coke or McDonald are just selling product that is legal to sell. I don't see them making any health claims. OTOH, ADA, AHA pretent to be guearians of public interest and public health. But their advice will tend to make people sicker rather than healthier. So, IMO, they are much more of the villains ...
